Feeding the Community by Fostering Self-reliance and Prosperity

SAFI EcoAfrica seeks to ensure that impoverished and underserviced African communities gain access to affordable quality food options and clean water. We feel this is achievable through creating an ongoing supportive ecosystem that will strengthen production of small-scale farmers and agribusinesses within the Agricultural Value Chain, thus allowing them to become self-sustainable contributors for their families and communities.  This empowerment initiative is driven by the adoption of sustainable agriculture practices that not only increase productivity but also significantly reduce the negative environmental impact of farming activities.

Our commitment extends beyond agriculture to tackle systemic challenges within the Agricultural Value Chain by integrating principles of economic development, renewable energy, water conservation, waste recycling and waste management. We strive to create a sustainable ecosystem that benefits both people and the planet. Through collaboration, innovation, and dedication, SAFI is dedicated to cultivating prosperity and responsible management of our natural resources, ensuring a healthier future for all.

Addressing systemic challenges within the Agricultural Value Chain

Our purpose is to ensure that everyone in the community will be included in the economic growth and prosperity of the agricultural value chain.

We envision a future where the agricultural sector flourishes in harmony with the environment. Our organization is guided by the principles of ecological sustainability, with the goal of diminishing the carbon footprint and resource consumption of agriculture while simultaneously improving its productivity.

Through comprehensive education, mentoring, skill development, technology training and capacity-building initiatives, we empower local youth and adults to become active stakeholders in their sustainable futures.

SAFI’s objective is to achieve and ensure the following for its farmers:

  • Sustainable Infrastructure: to establish eco-friendly poultry farms as model projects demonstrating best practices in sustainable farming and natural resource management.
  • Skills Development: To train women farmers in advance poultry farming, sustainable agriculture practices, and business management.
  • Market Integration: to facilitate market access for women farmers and promoting women inclusion in the broader agricultural value chain.
  • Sustainable Economic Development: Building partnership within the local community and establishing an ongoing support network of farmers.
